Typically used in pairs on a tandem axle trailer, between 1500kg-3tonne.

Bow shackles may seem a little odd to some people, but that doesn’t stop this little beauty from shining in the rain. The 12mm D shackle may have the spotlight, but the 13mm has its back with more back to give. The 13mm Bow shackle is very similar to the 12mm D shackle, only 1mm separates the two. With a wide opening, plenty of room for a chain, easy to hold and a strong 2500kg tow rating. Ideal for your larger trailer boat, horse float, or that tandem axle you push to the limit. With a 13mm main pin and 2.5 towing mass, this shackle is the business when it comes to Bow Shackles.

    Allow 15-16mm for the roll pin to fit through the tow bar hole.

Please note: By law the combined (ATM) rating of the shackle or shackle's being used must be 1.5 times greater than the total weight of the trailer being towed. For your convenience, we have included a maximum recommended towing mass which is the ATM divided by 1.5, please ensure that the total mass of your load does not exceed our maximum recommended towing mass.
